One more Disney Gift Card question

Does anyone know if they can be used for the deposit when reserving a room by phone with Disney?

you can use them to pay for your online reservation. So I don't see a problem, i haven't tried it either.

I just did it - no problem! It's a little funny to have to give them a few $50 & $25 cards, but they didn't have a problem with it at all.

I am buying gift cards from QR & SR. They give 10 percent back. So if I buy $1000 of gift cards through Disney store, I get the $1000 plus $100 from the reward site, plus $10 from my Disney Visa. Then I will take those cards and pay off my room when we arrive at POR.

That's pretty much what I did. I only got $500 but still $5 dollars on disney rewards and $40 on SR. I was thinking of doing another $500 but not sure if I have that right now. Even 4% later on isn't all that bad.

Well, I have not bought the whole $1000 yet. But on Monday will buy probably $500, which will get me to the $1000 mark. I really want to take advantage of the 10 percent while it lasts! My POR bill is about $1600. But I have $600 on my Disney rewards on my Visa credit card. It all adds up!!!! Gotta love SR and QR!!!! They are awesome!
