i'm looking for a simple photo editing program. i want to take my digital photos and be able to....
- crop
- make them fit a particular size using 300dpi (that's the correct dpi for a 4x6, right?)
- have multiple of these on one 4x6 size

does that make sense? say i want to put multiple christmas trees and make them all 2x3. which means i could fit 3 of them on one 4x6 (to have printed). of course i'd like to fill that 2x3 with the tree(s).

are there any free programs that will do all of this? or is there one you'd recommend that you've worked with. again, it's gotta be easy to use. i don't have the time to read a manual :rotfl2:

If that's all you want to do, there are plenty of low cost options out there (some probably free). Are you sure your digital camera didn't come with any software for this??
I use to use the Epson Film Factory to do simple things.. i think i downloaded it free a couple years ago.
Then my computer came with microsoft picture it already installed, so i used that too..
Then, my digital camera came with it's own software, and now came with Photoshop Elements (which is what i use for digi scrapping now).. but you can also get a free trial of that at www.adobe.com .
