Engagement Photos?

Hey ladies!

I've been reading all of your posts about photography stuff, and checking out the different outside vendors. More than likely we are going to have Randy Chapman do our photos too...I just love his style!

Anyway, I have a couple of questions about engagement photo packages. I noticed on his pricing that he offers them, but it seems to be attached to Package #3. Have any of you done the engagement photo shoot with him?

Also, how far in advance did you schedule the shoot?

I must have missed this thread yesterday-- I didnt do engagement photos with him but I must tell you-- WAY TO GO on choosing Randy. Seriously, you will not regret it. He is so amazing and just a genually tallented person! Let us know how it goes...:woohoo:

We booked package 4 with Randy in November for our June wedding. We haven't had our engagement photos taken yet but we do have them scheduled with Randy in March. We didn't book our engagement photo shoot until recently (mid-January) and we were able to get a session for mid-March. I don't think that you need to have something scheduled within a particular time frame and that it all depends on when Randy has weddings to photograph.

What I did was email him the date range that we were planning on being in Orlando for our planning session and he let me know his availability. It was really easy to work out and he is extremely helpful and flexible about arranging a time. The sooner you schedule it the better though because Randy is always busy. We are having our photos taken on a Wednesday since his weekends are almost always booked with weddings.

Hopefully that helps some. Let me know if you have any other questions, I will definately do a TR when we get back in March so I can let you know how the engagement photo session went. I am sure more brides will be along soon to give you even more information though. Lots of us use Randy and have had engagement photos taken by him. Great choice by the way, I've really enjoyed working with him so far :thumbsup2

Randy cannot do park pics I'm afraid, only Disney photo can do that.

I just booked my photography thru Randy Chapman and I did package # 2 and then added on the engagement photo's for$ 75.00 more (well worth it). My DF and I are very excited because we will be doing our engagement shots at the GF!:yay:

Sorry I don't really have anything to add about Randy but I noticed you are from Seabeck-- I grew up in Bremerton! What a small world...
