I was just wondering if vmk on a mac is faster or slower then on a windows xp? Because in november im asking for a macbook for my birthday.

If you get one of the newer Mac's, with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processer, then you should be good. I have a MacBook with an Intel Core 2 Duo, and the only thing is fireworks and mansion have lag. But Pirates and Jungle Cruise are fine!
