I'll be there but not with kids. First time going with my dbf and during gay days so it should be fun!!

We go every year during this time and our kids are always with us. We try to avoid the Magic Kingdom the first weekend. Not because we have a problem with the gay/lesbians there but because the crowds are huge!

Yes, we are going with a our friends who are Gay and our two kids and their two kids. I am more worried about the teenager's PDA and the ladies who look like they need a pole than I would ever be about adult couples and families. My dd3 just knows that her friend has 2 mommies. Has never seemed strange to her. I just wish I could leave my husband at home, girls really do have more fun!

We have and the only regret is that MK is so crowded!!
But it's crowded during ANY event.

We went last year with out two children during this time...no problems at all!!!

I did not notice anything different than any of our other trips.

I'm bumping this thread up because I really want to avoid gay week. Isn't it normally in June? Does anyone know for certain which week?

Gay Days is normally the first weekend in June. The Magic Kingdom will be super packed. Avoid it at all costs. I don't want to be in any park with that many people.....gay, straight, black, white, orange, blue....etc. etc. etc.

We will be arriving June 2. We were thinking about hitting MK that night-is it packed like 4th-of-July-packed? What about June 3rd-we wanted to hit the last day of the flower festival at Epcot. Comments from people who've been please...

I had not realized there was an event going on the first weekend in june. I want to avoid the crowds so we might adjust our travel dates.
