We are new to camping and FW. We are going Oct. 21-27. We are so excited about taking our camper down to the fort.I have been watching the dw web site for our week and delaying booking the week. When I checked it a week ago; I ended up not being able to get sat. the 20. :( :( It is true what I have read, you need to reserve a site as soon as you think of a trip. So who is going in Oct.?

We are. We go at least once every year and this coming October will be a full year since our last trip. Too long to wait!! We arrive on Oct. 20 and leave the 27th. Can't wait.:woohoo:

We are! We will actually be there while you are there. Arriving October 21 and leaving November 3. We are a grand gathering with 5 sites as of right now. We will be in the 1700 loop. Can't wait! My sister said just this morning it's only 37 weeks away!

WE are planning Oct 28 to November 3, 2 campsite so far!! It seem so far away!! The last few years we,ve been going in December. We are looking forward to October. I agree about booking a site as soon as you think you might be going.

We are trying to go for a weekend for DD 7th bday. So far we have Oct 18 and just this morning DH was able to book Oct 20.. so now we just need Oct 19!! So if anyone in cancelling for the 19th please let me know!! We need 2 sites :-)

We will be arriving in Oct on the 21st though the 28th...!!! This will be my 3rd Fort Wilderness trip!! I love it there!! I'm buying a new lite camper in the next few weeks...the old one is dying a slow death....:banana: :rotfl2: :yay: :cheer2:

We are headed down to the Fort for October 7-14th. This is our very first trip to the Fort (Our 4th overall, but our first with both boys). It's also our first "major" trip with our brand new 21 ft TT. I feel so spoiled this year......big trip to Disney and no more pop up!! Have a great vacation!

Noticed your dates......we'll be there the same week. Checking in Sept 26th out Oct 7th.....11 nights! I can't wait.

We'll be in a PuP, hopefully in loops 100 or 200, but we'll see. I'll be there with DH, DS9 and DS7. Look us up...my red hair shouldn't be too hard to spot!

I just told them today that we were going. The look on their faces was priceless. Last trip was in 2001, and we loved Ft Wilderness.

Count us in too. Oct 25th-Nov. 1st I just have to see all the Halloween decorations at the sites at Fort Wilderness. I'll be decorating as well. So much to do in October. We'll be chowing down at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, then having a frightfully good time at MNSSHP. Best time of year to vist WDW.

I'll be there with my daughter and Grandaughter for a girls only trip in my new TT (29ft. BH) And I'm soooooooo excited. We will be there the 21st through the 27th. We plan on doing the MNNSHP and the HHR as well. Granny is doing the Food and Wine Fest one day on her own.I'm already looking for decorations and what I have found so far are sold out...so I may start crafting real soon to get them all done by Oct. trip....I look forward to seeing you there. Ive also told DH that he has to make me Wooden Mickey heads on stakes. Ill paint them HD lime green lol.

I have a Mickey Pirate Flag already so I'm looking at some of the other inflatables. They have a vampire Mickey and Tigger with 3 pumpkins...Ghosts...I really want to try and keep it all Disney Themed and so far its sold out from the vendors I've found...I even emailed one company to ask when they plan to restock!!! lol I'm going to make a lampost from the directions I've found on this site (different thread) and see what else I'll come up with lol I'm also going to put my daughter on alert to find things since she isn't working and has more web surfing time !!! We will be there these exact days. Tent camping too! We will leave Madison on the 5th at 3:00 when DS gets out of school for fall break. We will do a sleepover in Valdosta and arrive at the Fort around noonish so we can set up in daylight.

Call the reservation center DAILY to try and modify your trip dates to get what you want. We've done it in the past at the recommendation of the CM. IT CHANGES HOURLY.I'm sure you'll be able to get all of your dates and will be surprised at how easily it can be accomplished.
We're going 9/30 to 10/06. Friends :hippie: are trying to talk us into joining them in OKW instead of The Fort.
