We got our first dream at the airport from the most wonderful Magical Express CM. Instead of putting us on the bus, he ushered the three of us off to a beautiful white limo for our ride to our resort :cool1: . The next day, at EPCOT, dd got to play a Figment toss game and got a cute certificate and then a few days later, dd "won" a bucket of popcorn at AK. Our final dream was later in the trip, Dream Fast Passes for MK (but the park was so empty, we didn't really need to use them).

We also seemed to get more extras than in past trips. Things like tons of stickers for dd and a lot of beads (stayed at POFQ), a sticker crown for dd from the Christmas shop at DTD, a couple of pieces of the bulk candy for dd from the candy store at the Boardwalk, also a CM filled dd's pirate hat with candy during the Pirate and Princess Party and one night we were surprised with a cute little cake for dessert at The Plaza Restaurant. It seems like every day there was some kind of goodie for us  .

Thats great LoriMouse! Sounds like ya'll had a wonderful time. Just curious what day of the week were you there that MK was so empty? Trying to plan our days out now for May and the historical data I have looked at is so conflicting. I have us spending a Sunday in MK, but it is also EMH. I am wondering if that is going to be a disaster. Thanks

Katrinao, it was Sunday but we actually wouldn't have needed them on any of the days we were at MK, except for the last Tuesday we were there. It was like everyone had crawled out of the woodwork and decended on MK that afternoon.

Of course, keep in mind that Jan/Feb is pretty slow all the way around at WDW so it would be hard to plan a May trip based on slow season. I've always heard to avoid MK on the weekends (outside of slow season) since many locals head to MK on the weekend. If you have park hoppers, it might be worth keeping Sunday as a flex day just in case you get to the park and it's too crowded for you. Or, split the day with another park, maybe heading to MK in the morning for opening, then heading to MGM or AK when the crowds start to arrive and then go back to MK in the late evening.

Hope you have a great trip!
