I have a ressie for three nights. I made it online w/ the APH code. The price per night right now is $314. I paid one night's deposit.
I just checked thru my AAA online & I can get the same room for $279.20/night.
So, can I call some Loews number & have the ressie switched to the AAA rate? Or should I cancel the APH ressie & then rebook thru the AAA website?
Thanks for any help!

You can do it either way. Just keep the deposit as a credit towards the rest of your bill. In any event do make sure to get a new reservation emailed or mailed out to you. 1-888-273-1311 or 1-800-BEASTAR (232-7827) or 1-866-LOEWSWB.

Also, does anyone know anything about a king club room? Does it have a sofa?

that happened to me on my trip last october.
since i switched i had to cancel the ressie, have the amount applied back as a credit on my cc and then make a new ressie with the AAA rate.
if the way they work it when you modify has changed, then go with what the other poster stated.
i find by calling the hotel direct to book is easiest.
i have done it all ways before but now just deal directly with the hotel to book.

Thanks guys... I will call directly tomorrow & have them switched. Then I will keep an eye out. I still have a ways to go. I just wanted to be sure to get the room I wanted. As it stands, there are no club rooms available at RPR for my time frame! Good thing we wanted to try HRH...
So, does anyone know anything about the king rooms? I am hoping it will have a sofa, otherwise I am going to have to switch to 2 queens...

Well, I called and had my rate switched to AAA. No problems. I also asked about the king club rooms. No sofa, so I switched to 2 queens.
