We have 2 full days for our first trip to Universal, May 5th and 6th. It happens to be a Saturday and Sunday. Will this be an especially busy time being the weekend? Is it as busy compared to Disney on the weekend? Also will 2 days be long enough? We can probably go with another half day if necessary. We were at Disney last year for the first time early December and we didn't find the crowds to bad.

Early May is fine for crowds. The weekends will be more busy because the locals show up since they don't have to work. Most recommend 1 day per park and then a 3rd morning for favorites. It just depends on how fast you go and how much you want to explore. If you show up early, you can do IOA in the morning, and head over to USF and do a few attractions in the afternoon. USF takes longer because they have more shows. 2 days is enough time. For each morning, I'd start at IOA, take a lap around the park, then head over to USF in the afternoon.

Thanks for the response.....I guess we'll just take a look at each park to see which one seems less busy during our visit each day.
