Hi, all you creative people. I am just in the beginning stages of coming up with a theme for my wedding. I know I want to have a Mickey Wedding, probably classic colors.
I am looking for Mickey Heads, Yellow, Red and Black Plain white If you have that too!!!
Can anyone help?
Thanks ahead of time, I will keep you all posted on the plans and the idea's I come up with!!!

We don't have a date yet, probably sometime in 2008

Very nice clean design idea!

You might want to add some drop shaddow or other effects to give the text alittle "pop".

Heres an example!

That is much cleaner then mine, I just did a quick trace around a scanned Home Depot Mickey head. My edges came out rough on the Mickey Heads. How did you get them rounder?
Also I love the shadow effect, Like you said it makes the Words pop!
Anymore cool ideas?

Do you have the seperate Mickey Heads, in yellow(your yellow is better), black and red with the clean edges? I am going to do other projects with them for the reception also.
One more thing I thought might make it look better a solid black or red border, can you add that?
Can you change the date too Oct. 4th, 2008
I love the Dis, I can't believe all the talented people on here :)

I can add the border and change the date (or do anything else you wanna try) this afternoon. :)

The Mickey head i think i saved from J&N's mom.. but here it is, you can change the colors and resize it in just about any paint program.. just select and fill with the color of your choice!

Can you make the one mickey head more yellow, like the classic yellow of mickey mouse
That is a neat idea!!!! I am not sure if I am hip on the lettering. I am looking for classic and simple!!

Well I guess we have a date, ;) I love the design Thank you!!!
This will be my second marriage. I want to have a simple wedding, nothing to fancy but classic. I love Mickey Mouse and I am going with that theme. I started working on a center piece for the reception tables. Still needs some work but I have fallen in love with it. I found the design online. Let me share:

I remarried 2 years ago...since we got married Bill has fallen for WDW as much as I have....I would have loved to have a Disney themed wedding!!!

Your centerpieces are amazing!!! I LOVE them...you did a great job. Are they made with foam balls?

Kristine, yes they are 1 large foam ball and the two smaller ones. I used floral sticks and hot glue to keep the ears on. As you can tell I need to fill in the bare spots taking more flowers then I expected.

Actually they are just your plain old crystals you can pick up anywhere, hot glued onto the base. I am really liking this Mickey Theme, I have so many ideas already and we aren't getting married til Oct. 2008.

I love it! We're getting married at Disney in June, and having another reception at home after the wedding. This is a great idea for centerpieces. What kind of flowers did you use?

They are artificial roses purchased at Wal-mart, nothing special. But its taking more to fill them in then I thought. Happy Planning, have a magical day!!

These are absolutely adorable!! Love em! You might want to spray paint or acrylic paint them dark red or black. That way the bare spots won't be as noticable. Congrats!!

Thats a great idea, I didn't even think about. I am going to put more roses in them also but the spray paint would help tremdously. Thank you.

You can always go back and have a vow renewal ! I am fortunate to have found someone who is crazier about Disney than I, so even though this isn't a first marriage for either of us, we are having a DFTW in August ! I can't wait !!
