Does anyone know if the Disney resort holiday seaon rates always change to value season on Jan 1? Or does it depend on the days of the week that Christmas and New Year's fall on any given year? I looked back as far as I could find and it seems to me that the rates always changed on Jan 1st but I could only find info back as far as '05.
Thanks!

Reason why you could only find to 05 was because there wasn't always a Holiday Season.. just use to be peak season... Holiday was put in place a few years ago.. maybe 05. If you notice, this year they have a "Summer Season" which is new too.. they never had that, just use to be regular season....
just another ploy to raise rates but not really raise them .. if you get what I mean.... they didn't "raise" the rates, but created a season that has a higher rate than the season that time frame use to be in..;) and Disney thinks we don't realize this... :lmao:

Several years ago, all of October use to be value season & that was changed. It was a slower time of year. Many realized it, started going, Disney changed the season to "regular" so the rates would be higher.. they didn't need to draw the crowds in.. but after 2004 hurricane season.. I started to wonder ;) Disney didn't change it back.. We will see what this hurricane season brings.. maybe the free dining..;)
