Disney Lanyards?

My kids are going to be pin trading (got some today! AWESOME!).
Should I get a lanyard at the dollar store or at Disney? how much are Disney's?

Dh got some cheap Disney ones on Ebay. I think they are $7 ish at WDW.

I think our Disney lanyards were $5 last year at CBR. They are lovely....wide bands. S

Just a quick reminder that pins purchased at the Disney stores cannot be traded with CM's at the parks. They have to be official wdw pins only available at the parks and DTD.

We bought the pin trading starter kits for our DD's last year when we got there and that was goo. You get 2 pairs of pins so you trade the duplicate ones. They come on a princess layard (not sure what the boys one had but there was a boys one).

I was just going to say the same thing Sandra the DS pins are fine for trading we have traded lots of them probably 100 this past Dec alone.

Yep DS pins are fine. You'll also see pins from the Cruise line, DLP and Japan in circulation.

I just got back from WDW on Tuesday. We looked at the lanyards and they are as low as $6. They are really nice, better than the dollar store. I saw a TON of people with the ones that the "Dream Team" were giving away.

Well, this calls for a quick trip to the Disney Store to shop for Valentines Day gifts!!

But you are sure?? Even the little ones you can buy in a set now like the Villans or the dwarfs - all of these can be traded??

I bought 11 pins at the Disney Store in Halifax for under $10.00! There were Naria pins on a package for just 2.49 ! I bought three packages of those and two singles. The Disney Store reprep pointed them out to us after she seen me sporting a disney hoody not available to them. She asked if we went often. Told her yes and she asked if my son traded pins!

She told me they were great for trading and she bought some for that purpose. They have the offical disney logo on them and are good to trade!

To trade pins with CMs at Disney they need to have the copyright insignia (the C in a circle) Disney on them.
