Leaving in 4 days and we're in big need of some pixiedust!!!!

I'm a little nervous. We leave late Friday night and our DS8 has a temp of 102.7. I was at the dr. Friday and got a zpack for a sinus infection for myself and now I'm worried about him. I'm hoping things will turn around for him asap. If he nots better by tomorrow morn, I'll be making a dr. appt for tomorrow. Anyone who would like to say a prayer for us can surely do so. We're driving down from northwest Indiana. I'm glad its not Thursday so I know we have time on our side. Just hoping the DH doesn't come down with it too. Thanks!!!!! Lynn

Children's Motrin! Works on my daughter like a charm to get that fever down!

Unless your little one has something serious, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that the fever will be gone in time for your trip.

hey there...yup work in a pharmacy and childrens motrin or advil works amazing...im also the mom of 2 girls. We are goign down in May and I always pack "just incase" meds....I even get the doctor to fill out RX like unmixed antibiotics with the properly measured distilled water in another bottle.....you will be happy you did because thats the last thing you want to worry about is finding a doctor to get an antibiotic!!!Good Luck...he will be fine:)

Thanks for the prayers and pixiedust!!!!! His fever broke in the middle of the night. Hip, hip, hooray. He doesn't sound the best but I'm praying that he'll be back to his old self tomorrow. At least today he's moving a little and eating a little. Thanks for the advice. I have such a problem getting him to take medicine. He fights me all the way and just won't do it which is really not a lot of fun. He hates the flavors of cherry and grape. He's a lemon kid and there isn't much other there that has that flavor. Now the husband is at work and thinking he's sick. Oh my goodness and my mom, who i'm the caregiver for as my dad passed away a few years back, is having problems with a leg that has had hip replacements twice. I'm ready to crack. Everyone here is so supportive. THANKS MILLIONS!!!!!!! Lynn

lynn....you have to go to the doctor and get those antibiotics today or tomorrow...they take 48hrs to work for your hubby and son....dont go all the way down there without them....relax....and pls have the best time ever!!!:banana:

Call CVS if you have one. They maybe able to get lemon flavor for you.
