ever done the 4th of July at WDW with DVC???

this past 4th of July. It was great. Booked a studio at OKW probably 4 or 5 months out. The parks weren't really crowded, although that was probably due to the economy. I also didn't think it was really hot, but I live outside Washington DC so I'm used to heat and humidity. I thought it was great. May do it again this year as I have the 4th and the 5th off.

Called in October for BWV, but studios were booked-up for 7/4. Rather than getting on the waiting list, we just decided to go at a different time. Want to go for the fourth someday though...

My DH and I will be making our first trip to WDW as DVC members over July 4th, 2002. We will be at WDW from June 28-July 7th and are staying at all 3 DVC resorts. We decided to book nights in each of the resorts as we have never been to any of them. This way we can learn the ins and outs of each so that the next time we visit DVC and have others with us, we'll have a better idea of which resort we want to book. We are preceding this trip with 5 nights at Hilton Head---so it's a 14 nght DVC stay all together. Can't wait!
