Hi all,

I saw that Maggie wrote about a AAA discount with MYW package in another thread. So my question for all of you is this, we already have a MYW package bookd for April 11-15th at POFQ in April, we're just going for fun, although we do have a meeting at DFTW.

Anyway, we are AAA members, so can we call and get them to apply a discount to the MYW package even though we've already booked it? And are there other discount codes that we could apply to get money back even though we've already paid for the whole trip??

Ahhh... I know nothing about these things... I need help!!! :grouphug:

There is a Codes and Rates (http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=93) board here on the Dis where your questions will be answered. Head over there -- or ask the Moderator to move this post.

I hope you find a good discount rate.

Did you book your existing package through AAA?

If yes... just call them once you get codes (ill help you!)... and they can apply those on top of your already discounted trip price.

If you have booked directly through disney-- just call AAA and have them apply the discount to your trip (you will probobly need to provide them with your reservation number, etc).

Okay I was wrong.. I looked over on the Codes & Rates board and couldnt seem to find any promo codes for April. I could certainly be wrong about this though-- last year they were eager to spit those codes out on that board-- now it seems as they the moderator wont let them? I dont understand this because its a 'codes' titled board.

Another good place to look is mousesavers.com

Look under walt disney world and then you will find discount codes there.

Im going to keep my eyes open for you and ill do some more research-- we will see if we cant get you a code!

My biggest suggestion is to use multiple codes-- just keep a look out for the ones that apply to you. These arent the best codes that come out but here are a few to get you aquainted with codes... I'll try to post all I can find on this thread. Codes are several letters long--disney puts these out to increase sales. Ofcourse you wont find as many during the busier months.. but you should still be able to find some.

Call your local AAA Agent and ask them to have this applied to your trip-- it cannot hurt.

THe earliest code i found was the MYW that starts on the 15th (the day you leave)... im going to continue the hunt. Maybe these other codes will work for someone else...

BTW- these are not AAA codes-- these are general codes to the public that Disney can apply just as easily as any other travel agent. :thumbsup2

Im not sure of the validity of this code-- but you can try it... (it was posted on the codes & rates board)...

This code is for 40% off your value resort during certain dates at WDW!! Here are the dates....

2-01-07 to 2-07-07
2-25-07 to 3-07-07
5-28-07 to 6-03-07
8-21-07 to 10-06-07
10-21-07 to 11-13-07
11-11-07 to 11-16-07
12-09-07 to 12-22-07

Code BSY

Another thing--

Codes are very sensitive. Sometimes there are private codes that are said to be public, and visa versa. If the CM asks you for a pin number-- then its a private code. It is very difficult to tell the difference between the two especially with so many people shooting out different codes and giving out their own private code stating its public. Confusing I know-- but its free knowledge so it cant hurt ya

ZFZ (package) and BSY (room-only). I am not exactly sure what dates they are for and I dont know if they have pins... These two are 40% off package and then 40% off room-only.....

Gl with this one-- if it works for you thats excellent!! Defiantely a big discount.

Oh my gosh, Maggie!!! Thank you so much!!! You rock!!! I can't believe how much you did-- thank you SO much. Are you sure you don't want to become a travel agent????! :goodvibes

I will def. use the AAA-- do you have any idea how much of a discount it is on rooms (we're staying at POFQ). I've never used a discount code, we booked this on Disney's website a few months ago. So I guess we'll call AAA and give them our reservation number.

I just figure every dollar we save is an extra dollar towards souveniers--- or the wedding!!! :wizard:

Also, thank you Janet2k! I will def. go over and check out those boards and see what I can find!! :goodvibes

Again, thank you so so much Maggie, I cannot get over how helpful you are!!! :grouphug:
