Anyone watch this?
I thought it was cool, having the Canadian edition.
I liked the Maple Leaf stage.

I did apply to be on the show, was really hoping I would get on!!!
15,000 applications they got! Crazy!

Did they have the gay rodeo cowboy from Calgary on there yet? He is quite a character!

Yes, you are right, it was 115,000 applications. (that makes me feel better that I wasn't picked!!)

No, no Cowboy yet. A guy from Medicine Hat (where I once lived!!) and a lady Mountie from Manitoba.

I entered for the car too, but obviously didn't win!

My brother-in-law, Jonathan, is on on the 15th. He is one of the supporters for a young man. Former student. He coached him.

I think they've done a fantastic job with the show. Fun, eh? Howie is so quick.

I wondered if any Dissers would know any of the contestants/supporters/models.

I just gotta say, though, that the Mountie drives me nuts.

I applied too and didn't hear anything.

The reasonable assumption would be that they discriminate against engineers :lmao:

I actually didn't watch it on Sunday, DW and I were attempting to teach her 80 year old grandparents how to play the Nintendo Wii. I really wish that I would have had my camcorder there because it would have been priceless! We'll take it over again sometime and then I'll get it on tape!

Gay rodeo cowboy from Calgary eh? That should be interesting...

In my application you have to include pictures. So, I sent in the one of us at Disneyworld last year, with Cinderella.
We had all our matching orange Disney shirts on, and looked great, with a princess, in a castle, and still didn't get picked!
I thought that would get me in for sure! They mustn't be Disney fans!

And I told them how much I loved Disney, and how the first thing I would do with the money is go to Disneyworld.
So sad I didn't get picked. Maybe if Deal was owned by ABC I would have got on!!

I just gotta say, though, that the Mountie drives me nuts.

Please make her Tim Horton's coffee a decaf before she goes on the next episode! She was really wired! :rotfl2:

I can't wait for the new Amazing Race All Stars! It's gonna rock! DW and I love Rob & Amber.

I'm definitely going to try and watch Deal or No Deal tonight but it'll have to be after Hannibal Rising; I got free screener tickets!

I totally agree! I looked at DW and gave her the cocked eyebrow like saying "are you kidding me? They're bringing Nascar style to Deal or No Deal...go figure!"

"....the Number 24, DuPont, Chevy, Monte Carlo really performed well today" <insert southern drawl w/ a high pitched nasaly voice> and you have Jeff Gordon.

Well, in the first episode they actually added it in post taping!
