I may drive from Wilderness Lodge to Animal Kingdom....

instead of using the buses - I have an early breakfast PS & don't want to take a chance. How long of a drive is it? Is it tough to get there?

Sure!!! We drove to all of the parks from WL... we are not fans of the busses. The roads are well marked, too. It took no more than 15 minutes, if that! I highly recommend driving. If you have any questions, guest services will be happy to help you out! Have a great time:)

other resort guest can not drive to akl unless you are staying there!

I was under the impression that AKL is no longer "restricted." Regardless, I think that--with a PS in hand--restauratnt guests can park at the Lodge.

We found bus service to/from AKL bordering on nightmarish when we went to Boma for dinner. Driving sounds like a great idea.

I'm not actually going to the lodge - just AK. Our breakfast is at Donald's.....
