Well I'm a first time poster and this would be my first time to Disney World since I was a kid. Now I have kids of my own and I want them to experience the "magic" :yay:

Looking at going in March, yay or nay? What is the weather/crowds like that time of year? Also, are the packages assoc with the resort hotels worth it? Or am I better off staying a few minutes off site? Uggh, so many questions :rotfl:

I'm going in March, I hope the crowds won't be that bad! We are staying on site this time with a toddler and a grandma that doesn't get around all that well the location was important to us. I've always done room only - no package, but lots of people like the packages so it depends on what you need. Staying off site works great too, we have done that with larger groups - last time we had a 3 bedroom suite and it was VERY economical considering we had 7 people!

Have fun planning, these boards are are extremely helpful!

It depends when in March you're going. From what I've read, the beginning of March (which is when we're going) isn't too bad. Yes, it'll be crowded, but not as bad as around Easter or Spring Break.

The weather should be great. Check out this site for average temps for March 1-15th.

We have been many times in March. It is amazing how much busier it gets each additional week in March. By end of March it will be busy (keep in mind the weeks surrounding Easter are posted as the busiest).

Weather is soso (better than Feb). It will be warm in the day (not usually HOT so nice for walking around the parks) and the evenings can be a little cool (but not usually COLD like it is there right now - relatively speaking!!).

We've been at the busiest times of the year and since Disney knows how to manage crowds, it was still enjoyable!!

If you have the time and the money - JUST GO!!!
