The Dresden Files comes to the UK

For fans who love the Jim Butcher's Dresden Files books staring Wizard/Detective Harry Dresden the TV addaptaion is coming to the UK! :yay:
For any Dis-Fans who have read Butchers series (on-going) this is really exciting and I felt the need to tell everyone. For those of you who have not, here's a basic synopsis from the Jim Butcher website . . .

"The Dresden Files are set in a "alternate" Chicago where magic is real, but only a few actually believe in it; it's a first-person tale told by an irascible wizard named Harry Dresden, who regularly gives the magical establishment indigestion — and the police, the same. For any who love magic, mayhem and dark storylines I suggest tuning in :happytv: - this promises to be a fantastic series and my friends and I who have a hole in our television schedule crying out for a program that should be like a grown up Buffy/Angel with a Supernatrual style darkness it should fit the bill.

Saw an ad for this on Sky last night and it certainly looks worth trying :)

It will have to go on the sky+ though as I can't see it being DW's type of thing :rolleyes:
