I am on the DDp. So what kind of desserts does Kona have? I saw the menu but i shows drinks but no dessert!

Chocolate Macadamia Nut Tart - chocolate tart shell with chunks of macadamia nut and chocolate served with vanilla ice cream and caramel rum sauce

I am a huge fan of apple desserts -- apple pie, apple crisp, apple turnovers -- & I DID NOT enjoy Kona's Apple Brown Betty at all last August.

We've enjoyed several good meals at Kona, but that dessert just wasn't very good. It was quite dry & just had an unusual taste...maybe just overdone. Not a good ending to an otherwise good meal.

You have been warned.;)

My kids, however, LOVE the Kiddie Kone. They think that is pure heaven...all the ice cream & cotton candy. One of the highlights of the trip for them.

even as an adult - I love the kiddie cone. The ice cream is premium and so good.

Last trip I had the Kilauea Torte and my DH ordered O'hanas Bread Pudding. The Kklauea Torte was good but very rich. My favorite is the Bread Pudding.

Yes. We asked our server if we could order it. We ate there twice and both times ordered the O'hana Bread Pudding with no problem.

I got this wanting to try something different and didn't enjoy it that much. It was good, but just not for me.
