Anyone interested in a Pirate & Princess Swap?

We're going to the Pirate & Princess party on our upcoming trip to WDW and I'm already thinking about how to scrap it! :rolleyes:

I couldn't find any existing swaps for this event, so I wanted to see if anyone else would be interested in participating in a mini-kit swap.

I'm envisioning one kit* for each of these areas/events:

Pirate Coves (New Tortuga, Frontierland, Riverboat Riviera, Solaris' System)
Princess Courts (Jasmine's Court, Ariel's Court, Princess Pavillion)
Treasure Hunts
Disney's Enchanted Adventures Parade
Magic, Music & Mayhem Fireworks

* Elements for each kit could include a topper, photomats, a journaling box OR library pocket & tag set, deco squares and a "scrapper's surprise" (paper piecing, shaker box, etc)

We are still thinking about attending. I would want to do this I think but only if it wasn't due until sometime in April. I can't put anything else on my plate for February- plus we don't plan on going until Feb 23rd and I would want to go before I made me pieces.

I guess I have to be in since I have the treasure map die cut. I would also prefer a later due date, we're going to the last party so I'd like to see it so we can get ideas.
I'll check the calendar and see if we can squeeze something in.

I'm glad there are folks interested -- I was thinking of sign-ups in March and a due date in May, if there is room on the calendar. Certainly nothing earlier than that! :thumbsup2

I would be in, too. princess: pirate: We are also going (on the 15th) and I know I'll be taking a million pictures. If I get to claim one now (don't know if I do, but here it is anyway), I'd like the Princess Courts.

For 2 reasons - 1. My DD will be meeting the Princesses princess: and 2. I used to live on a street called Princess Court. Weird.

A long lead time for this one would be fine with me. I can't wait to go! :)

Absolutely! Why pay for fonts when there are thousands of free ones out there? That's my philosophy anyway. :banana:

I think we are waiting until the last party is over, March 8th. that is the one we are going to. So I'm sure we will get this running by the end of March.

We went on the 15th. Super fun! Of course, it was about 55 degrees and raining, but we met Princesses and Princes (together!), got a ton of loot and saw Jack Sparrow but the wait was over an hour, so we passed. Got a picture though. I can't wait for the swap! :)

I think we are still hammering out details. I will post sign ups on a new thread on the 30th. Unless Rebecca hosts, then she will do sign ups. We don't have school that day so I an do it. the only thing is DS5 has a DRs. appt at 2.

I will probably use the standard list of elements. I'm thinking about doing at least 1 group of elements too.
Kits would be 2 mats and 2 elements.

I can host and do both page kits and element groups. I would need to do signups on Thursday the 29th- I have more time near computers at school on Thursday than Friday. The areas you mentioned looked good although in Solaris there was a 2nd dance party for the children with Stitch and Lilo.

Missed Lilo and Stitch. Well we actually missed a lot because we stood in line for Jack for 1 1/2 hours.
Thursday is good, I will be gone around 10:30 am though. Robert Surette, the hero art guy, is coming to our school so I'm going to take pics for PTO.
