Holy Cow, I have just discovered your digital talent, and my fingers hurt from scrolling through 28 pages of your beautiful designs ! I will read the others later.......

I am not one to ask for favors, but I would much rather ask you couple questions, so I can teach myself what you do. I have very little experience with photoshop, but I have used it before.

You reply so quickly with the name requests, do you have to start each one as a new project? Like you Type up the words, and then "fill " them with the picture? or do you save let's say a pirate file, then just re-type for different names?

I am drooling over all the work you do ! I am self taught on some digital programs I really enjoy traditional scrapping, but the keyboard is so addicting, and you get instant results when you digi scrap. Also like others, your designs can be used for shirts, home decor and ANYTHING & EVERYTHING.

Thanks again for your generosity. You are a special person.
thanks, Judy:cheer2:

Near the beginning of Maria's thread she posted a link to a great tutorial. You can use the same background every time and put a new word on easily. The more difficult/time consuming part is trying to fit certain phrases to certain images. Most of the time, once you have the background image, it's quick to do another name/word/phrase.

Beth, that makes a lot of sense. I just wanted to know about that before I even started to attempt to do anything like that, because if not I wasn't sure I would even try if it couldn't be duplicated quite easily.

Coincidentally, you are quite talented yourself !!!! :worship:

Are you self taught or did you actually take graphic design classes?
Just being nosey.......................... Sorry.
I'm a stay at home mom with some time on my hands and sometimes I think of taking a class.

Thanks ladies.
P.S. I think I read that link tutorial.... the one where the guy keeps thanking "Butch" ?

Hi, Maria! I'm glad to see you around. How is it going for you? I'm on more sporadically these days as well. That whole real life thing!

Hi Beth! I'm doing well! January has been a zoo around my house with two birthdays to plan and execute and a bout of the flu (still ongoing right now). I was inspired to jump online tonight and fill a few PM requests and see if I can help out with some random request threads. I see you've been busy designing, too! There is just not enough time in a day sometimes, don't you think??

I've tried to limit myself to weekend designing only since (as you know too well) it takes so long to do sometimes. The pace I've set for myself now is much more comfortable for me.

I guess I should have PMed you this. Take care!:goodvibes

I've just joined the Dis. but have been lurking for the past yr. I have the photo image pro version 11 and photo elements 4.0 Can you tell me where to find the Show Card Gothic font. We are off to the World in the fall and would like to try my hand at the shirts. The ones I have been looking at are great.

I have been searching for the Showcard Gothic font and the only places I have found it are charging around $40.00 for it. Anyone know if it is available for free any more?
