Me and Mason broke up...

Well most of you know that I had a bf,Mason, for almost 3 years. We've been through tons, I spent all my time at the hospital when his dad had brain surgery. He spent tons of time there when my aunt was sick. It's just that we're both so young, and we've been together soooo long!

I decided to tell him I needed a break. Not that we don't still love eachother because I do, it's just well yeah.... I just really need to be a teenager,you know?

I'm not sure what to do... I still love him it's just not the same anymore. We've been acting like an old married couple. We have NIGHTS that we go see a movie. Every Sunday we go see a movie.

I feel kinda caged, I just wanna be a kid. Maybe go bf-less for a while.

We mutually agreed that we'd probably try our relationship out again later, but now we agreed that we could date other people....

Does anyone know how I feel?

I'm not sure I'd ever feel that way.. I'm just the kind of person who would stay together with the guy I loved, as long as everything was working both ways. I'm not the kind of person who minds being tied down if I love the person.

But I understand where you are coming from and I hope things work out for you =)

But here's the good thing: you guys are on good terms. The break up didn't get ugly, and you both left the door open for each other. IMHO, that's one of the best ways to leave a relationship if it has to be left at all.

It's okay, I'm sure things will work out for the best. I cannot say I know how your feeling, having basically no relationship experiance, but I've witnessed it happen before, between my friends. one of my friends has been with one of my other friends for. errr i'll say like a year and a half? they had a disagreement the last few days and she has not been herself. and they figured it out yesterday after school and i could just see her glow. :goodvibes

so yep. pretty much sure it's possible to be with someone for a long time.
