My sister is bring my nephew who will just be 1 month shy of 9. He is pretty tall, maybe about 52". Just wondering if Disney restaurants ever ask for proof of age.

A friend took her tall daughter a couple years ago and carried her birth certificate as she was questioned at the gate when using a child's ticket. It seemed to work fine that she showed the birth certificate.
Hopefully they will not ask but it's better to be prepared.
Have fun!!!

I think you are correct. It is better to be safe. My nephew is bigger and looks older then my son who is 11. But my son looks young. We will be together at some parks and for a couple of dinners. I just thought it would be odd to have 1 kid who looks older but is younger, and 1 who is older but looks younger. I guess we are well balanced.

If you are asking if she will be able to order off the childrens menu the answer is yes. Our 17 year old boys did.:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

It's no problem. My 9 yo son is 58 inches and no one even really looked at him. Whatever it says on your card in terms of adult/kids they will go by.
