Lock offs at VWL [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

We received our confirmation letter for our June ressies. Part of our vacation will be spent at VWL. We are staying in a studio and our letter says it is a lock off.

Just curious :)....are all studios at VWL lock offs? Or is it because we requested non smoking and that is what studios in this area are? only wondering....

Yes, all VWL studios (and 1BR's) are lock-offs. There are a few dedicated 2BR's however.

Not sure if you had a concern in a bad way or not. But we stayed at VWL in February in a studio "lock-off" and never heard any noise from the other side. Actually, we were there 6 nights and it was the quietest resort/hotel/motel that we have ever stayed in.

..no concern, just curious! we stayed in a lock off at HH for a night and never heard a peep! Our OKW confirmation does not say lock off and the VWL did. Just made me wonder! :D

For what it's worth, we stayed at VWL in November and had a dedicated studio. There was a window looking out onto the pool where I'm assuming the door would be in a lock-off. Our confirmation letter also stated 'studio lock-off'.

It was a great room, try to get it if you can!
