Ideas for off-site meets during DIS Con 2?

Since some of you come up days before DIS Con 2, I was wondering about some off-site meets. Here are my ideas:

1.) Universal Studios: Men in Black shoot-off
2.) Islands of Adventure: The thrill ride tour in one park
3.) Sea World
4.) Sak Comedy Lab meet (check them out at www.sak.com)
5.) The Orlando Roller Coaster Tour: Ride the coasters at WDW, Sea World, and Universal in one day. We might even add Old Town and the Skycoaster!
6.) "The Other Side of Orlando" tour: Tour attractions like the Titanic Experience, the Peabody Ducks, the Holy Land Experience, Sak Comedy Lab, etc.

And last but not least...

7.) Jellyrolls! OK, it is not offsite, but it is fun! :)

I was thinking of coming up for a week and staying at Suburban Lodge or Extended Stay America. I can get a weekly rate of $200. I can also go cheap and find a $20 a night hotel from Priceline. If I stay at the Swan, I will have a room above Tia's and have all-night clog dancing. :)

So who will join my crazy self? :)

Outside of Disney? There are things outside of Disney BESIDES the airport??? I don't think I can hear anymore about this. Outside of Disney? Now you're just making stuff up!!:p :rolleyes: :p

Okay, Jody. I was thinking of you when I read Barry's post, and then I saw that you had replied to it. There are places to go, people to see, and things to do outside of WDW. :p :D ;)

Shhhhhhh.........don't tell anyone, but I LOVE Men in Black. That ride is a blast. We rode it 3 times in a row when we were there in June!!!!!!!!!! It is a riot. I laugh myself silly throughout the whole ride! Don't know what dates I'm coming down yet. I have to think about this and I want to see what everyone else is doing.

Yes, Virginia, Tia, Jody....there are things to do outside of Disney World. Islands of Adventure to be precise. Lotsa thrill rides, coasters...... and Men in Black is an absolute riot! I can even score more than 3,100 points like I did on Buzz Lightyear (so where is my pork product, Barry?) ;)

I was going to do IOA after DIS-Con, but I was just tooooooo tired to move.
