Budget vs National Emerald Choice - Please Reply!

I currently have a Luxury Car with National Emerald Choice and a Luxury Car with Budget (both MCO airport). Prices are about the same ($40 difference). I've been really nervous about all the talk about National lately. What do I do if I get there and there aren't any luxury cars on the luxury aisle? Do I end up with a premium or smaller? We've had problems with Budget in the past (had to wait about an hour for a car) but they did eventually get us the car type we reserved or an upgrade.

Any thoughts from the seasoned renters?

This has happend to us before! What usually happends is they will give you a cupon for the next time you go to budget. The cupon is good for the same car you ordered and the same time period you ordered it for. PLUS when you use the cupon it costs you nothing to rent the car. SO if they dont have the same type of car you want, They give you the next best thing they have :(

keep pluggin Cali - like I said, go with your gut, or flip a coin :) I for one would still choose National!
