OT - II Rental Board [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi,
Does anyone know of an II rental board that would be the equivalent of our rental board on Disboards. I've been told by Member Services that there is a two year wait on the II resort we were looking at and wondered if there was another option.

What resort? You can try running a google search on it and see what comes up.

TIAWhat resort, unit size and time of year are you looking at? Of course you can actually rent any resort not just II resorts.

I'm looking for a honeymoon for my cousins. Looking for a 1 bedroom at Worldmark Windsor in Napa for the week of June 10th. Member Services told me they were booked out for the next two years but when I called directly they found that hard to believe. So if I understand the system that probably means that DVC has already traded all of the weeks for the next two years with II. The actual resort doesn't enter into it. Will probably be able to get it on a cash basis.

Availability through II is not the same as availability directly on a cash basis. For II someone has to deposit from the resort in order for it to be available as an exchange...and it gets a bit more complicated from there.

Thanks again.There is no formal wait list and it's not first come first served. Put in a request and see what happens. Also contact a few WM owners, they may be able to work something out. Post on the rent/trade board for what you have in mind as a trade as well.
