:) We are taking a WDW trip 2/17-24 and found out DH can take an extra day, so we thought about adding a day to our trip (25th) and staying at the beach, just one night (24th and leaving 25th). Any suggestions as to a great hotel??? Thanks!!!!!:)

Not the Holiday Inn Resort!
There is a wonderful place a little further south of "downtown" Cocoa Beach (it's still Cocoa Beach) called the Beach Place. It is individual cottages/villas and they are beautifully done (theme differs from cottage to cottage).
It is privately owned (and I prefer supporting independents) and very clean.
You could try there. Not sure if they'll do just an overnight though.

Not sure how much you want to spend or what kind of accomodations you desire, this time of year rates are generally higher.
Agree with DVC~OKW~96 Beach Place would be #1 on the list but also can't remember if they only rent for one night. Thumbs up imho. Simply unique and clean! Have stayed in "Alice's Garden" 2BDR and an Oceanside 1BDR for the weekend. The world(especially DisneyWorld) needs more independent "boutique" type places.

Also imho an excellent family resort is the Resort on Cocoa Beach. Condo type accomodations. Have not stayed here personally but checked it out. Some of DW's relatives really enjoyed it who were in town for a DN's wedding. It seems to get great reviews as well.
