I am stressing out! We leave next week, and I know I am going to forget something! We are staying at a condo with washer/dryer, so I am only bringing a couple outfits (for several different seasons!). Other than toiletries and strollers, what do I really need? My kids are 11, 4, 4.

Thanks!

:rotfl: Yes, don't I know it!

Although that was another thing I was wondering- how much cash do you bring? Can you pretty much pay credit for everything? How about the 'snack' places at Disney?

Please forgive me- never taken the kids on a plane, went to MK one day a LONG time ago, and never taken a 'big' trip like this, so I am freaking out! Of course, I end up doing that for everything, I'm kind of a control freak/worry wart with a little OCD in there! :rolleyes1

Relax..you are in for a great time. I would recommend some items to keep them busy for the plane...if they are new they may be enraptured with them even longer:

1. color wonder markers
2. magic ink books
3. little toys/polly pockets
4. sippy cups (empty..fill up after security or on plane)
5. fruit chews (for ears on take off and landing)
6. snacks..have a stash for your condo too..they are not easy to find when you need them, like in line or as a distraction.
7. portable DVD player w/a few movies
8. books

I'm sure your 11 year old will have her own ideas about what she needs, but a new book or game would help.

I know that it is difficult, but relax. If you forget anything, you can always buy it. I'm guessing that you are renting a car since you will be in a condo or is it DVC? In any case, even if you have to go offsite, you can always find what you need.

That, and bring at least 2 pairs of shoes per person. If one is really painful, hopefully the other won't be. That and clothes are the really important things!

BTW, I way overpacked with disposable supplies. (Diapers, wipes, hand gel, etc.) DH was making fun of me by the time we left. I understand about stressing about packing and how difficult it is to relax. After our trip, that is my best advice, and, hopefully, I will next time! (It was also our first family trip and first time on a plane with kids. I understand the stress!)
