OH NO - She's at it again!!!! (Making an offer - through Jackie A)

Did you really think I was serious when I said we "weren't" going to do this? Did you really think I couldn't "persuade" my husband to "my" way of thinking? Well if you DID think all of the above - then you are as JUST AS SUPRISED AS ME because I didn't think he'd bend!

However - everything has it's price doesn't it??!! He actually told me - if we'd agree to let him get the big "V" done (so as to seal the deal of our family size) - then we could "go ahead" with the DVC !!!

Reluctantly, (knowing the procrastinator he is) - I've agreed. See, I'd like to have 4 children - he wants 2 - (we have 2) - and believe me I've tried to convince him to at least have 1 more - and he won't bend. And who wants to "force" someone into having another baby anyway right?

Well - probably more information than everyone really needed to know - but nevetheless - we have a bid in with our wonderful Jackie A for a 230 point package at OKW and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the negotiations go smoothly!!! :)

I look forward to the day of getting all my "welcome home" messages .........

Boy! I've been begging my husband to get the big "V' and DVC, hes agreeing to the DVC, but not the other one! (He says, if it isn't broke, don't fix it!) I think your getting a better deal!

Ok -- be still my beating heart -- I just heard back from Jackie and on offer #1 (the 230 point package - which I really think we need) - the seller said they'd "think about it" and get back to her tomorrow - so she then told him -- "no way - you get back to me very soon because I have another offer to make on a different contract ..." and so he said he'd talk things over and call Jackie back this evening....

I'm on pins and needles now! Boy - nothing like a play by play status update huh?!

Resale listings are addictive...

We already bought two contracts.

I have to force myself NOT to even look at the listings anymore. Last time I looked, my jaw dropped at the amount of listings available and the potential bargains to be had!

Pickings were much slimmer when we bought earlier this year.

Btw, we used Jaki for one of our resale buys too. She works at all hours doesn't she? :eek:

When we bought there seemed to be multiple buyers/offers per resale listing.

I guess with the number of listings available now, there are multiple listings per buyer to offer on!

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!! We bought 2 resales via Jaki. Just remember that there will always be another deal. If the seller doesn't come close to your offer, move on. Don't fall in love with a given listing:) :)

Hey SleepyatDVC - we bought resale in June. Where did you end up and do you think the deals are a lot better than they were then? I've looked at some current listings and the prices seem a bit lower but lots of them have already used their points for this year. BTW, we ended up with 200 at OKW and 278 banked.
