We always do the DDP and this will be our first stay at FW in our pop up on the DDP. I'm looking at the menus on allearsnet, and I don't really see a food court like other resorts to get daily counter service options and snacks, etc.

I'm assuming the Trail's End Buffet is a table service. Can anyone give me a better understanding of the food areas at FW?

Trails End is counted as a table service restaurant. There are not any counter service places at Fort Wilderness but you can take the boat to Wilderness Lodge or the Contemporary Resort and use their counter service restaurants.:coffee:

There is no CS a FW and IMO I wouldn't use a TS at Trails End. The price is so cheap that I'd save the TS credits for something more expensive.

I agree with both pooh/susan. Save your TS credits for the character meals..! We'll be there in April, and my in-laws will be staying at WL, so we are thinking about using our CS meals at the Roaring Forks. Our favorite TS meals are Goofy's Dinner @ Liberty Tree and Princess Bfast @ Akershus. We will be doing the HoopDeDoo for the first time this year...

Also, there are approximately 50 - 100 counter service restaurants all over Disney World property, you are not confined to eating at your resort!!
