You can't book AAA online, you need to call.

Someone mentioned in a post yesterday that booking the AAA rate on AAA's website was actually cheaper than calling Universal and getting the AAA rate. You may want to look into that.

When I checked my dates on the AAA website, the rates were exactly the same as quoted by Loews. That's weird that they would be different. If I check May 12 at the RPH I get a rate of $191.20 on my AAA website. The May 12 HRH rate is $212.

You should be able to log into your AAA website to get rates.

This was the post.
Is it best to call the Portofino direct and ask for the AAA rate, or book through AAA website. I already have a standard room booked, but AAA has a better room with a cheaper rate. If I call the hotel will they honor, or is it best to cancel and go through AAA. I have never booked a hotel on AAA website, and am a little leary:confused: Any info is greatly appreciated!!

It didnt happen to me personally but I still wanted to share the info.

Hmmmm. I didn't interpret that post as them getting a better AAA rate on the AAA website. I thought this person just had a normal room booked not with the AAA rate and was asking how she should go about booking a AAA rate; directly with the hotel or online with AAA.

I dunno. You are probably right. It isn't easy trying to interpret all these questions!!!

Ohh! I totally see the way you are interpreting it. Now that you mention it that makes more sense.

Good thing we speak fluent Universal!
