Hi! I'm hoping you guys can help me make heads or tails of this. :confused3 I received a voicemail on my cell phone Thursday morning which I could barely hear. My messages are always full of static, and I'm (now) kicking myself for not buying a new phone sooner. Anyway, back to the message. All I could make out was "Hi, Kristie! This is (static) calling from (static) card was pulled (static, static) for two (static, static, static) from Providence to Miami or Port Canaveral (static, static, static) a year and a half to use (static, static, static, static.) Then my phone hung up! :scared1: I didn't recognize the number on the caller ID, so I've tried calling it several times. I get a busy signal every time. Could that have been Disney?? That is the only type of contest or sweepstakes that I've entered, but my mom is always entering her 3 little angels  (including me ;) ) in all sorts of random contests. It's very possible it was some type of scam, or gimmick so I'm not getting my hopes up. If it was Disney, will they contact me again? My curiosity is killing me! Thanks

It doesnt sound like it to me.Sounds like maybe a timeshare thing or someone trying to get you to buy something.

You owe it to yourself to check it out...I found it VERY hard to believe that I had won also, but I am SO glad that I called back because we had won the "Keys to the Kingdom"!!!
First, check the number...it should have an Orlando exchange...
Second, when you do talk to the person, listen very carefully.
If they start asking for Social Security numbers, credit card #'s, or anything that raises a red flag...forget it!
Write down the person's name and verify that they work for Disney...this can be done through the general information number...
The people who notify winners do this all the time, and understand that most people are skeptical....and they are very patient and will answer all your questions...
I really hope you won something!!! :cheer2:

Type in the phone number listed on Google and see what comes up. I hope I'm wrong, but it really sounds like a timeshare spiel to me.

Would check the exchange before I call it, there are alot of scams going on where you call and then the next thing you know you a phone bill with all kinds of charges. I would do the reverse look up thing to see where the exchange is. I have gotten calls on my cell phone similiar to that, and they were timeshares, and I have found if you give that number out you sometimes get calls from all different places. I am hoping though you won something great. Keep us posted.
