On the Codes & Rates board there many, many threads about a certain code that may save you 40% off the room if buying a package during certain dates. The debate rages about if this a public or private sale. I know that for two whole days I had a 6night/7day WL woodsview room, MYW+hopper and dining for four people for $27++. A savings of over $600. The higher the room catagory the better the deal. We had to cancel due to the fact that we just swing it for the May-June dates and kids go back to school for the Summer/Fall dates.
If you are going this year and are planning on going for the following dates:
2/25-3/7;
5/28-6/3;
8/21-10/6;
10/21-11/3;
11/11-11/16;
12/9-12/22.
I know a lot of us just stay on this board, so we don't know about the other stuff. This discount has been accepted for over three days, so I am sure it is not something wrong with the CRO and I feel that I am not over stepping by telling everyone here about it. I will keep the moderators guidelines and NOT post the three letters for the package deal. If you are interested, please PM me and I will be happy to give it to you.

CRO-central reservations office. It's a fancy term for the 407 number you call to directly book with WDW.
Would one of your brood fit on the trundle bed that Alligator Bayou section of Port Orleans Riverside has? While 40% off a Mod is not as great as deluxes, it is still a savings better than AAA but less than free dining. My sister's family stayed there last August. Her, DH, DD12, DD9, DD9. The DD12 is taller than her Mom and she is the one who stayed on the trundle. The pictures of their pool made me want to stay there. But I love the boat to MK from WL, so that is where we would stay again if we could.

The skuttlebutt is TA's can't use the code, until Monday. Don't know why. I can't figure that stuff out. Hurts my head.:sick:
Momof2 - we loved WL, I don't think my DH will try any place else. Which is fine by me. :rotfl:
Okay, PN96 I emailed you the code. Since you got the flyer, you should be good to go the first time you call. Have the flyer handy when you do call.
Let us know when you book. I want to live through you for a few days.

Well I just called to see if I could change my offsite ressie (2/27-3/2) to onsite with the deal and they said that I had to have gotten the flier in the mail. I haven't so :( It's just too much to stay there for me when I can get a room with a Dinette and a balcony for $60 + $30 a day for car rental. I would switch in a heart beat if they'd offer me the deal.
P.S. AWM - Thanks for the info, though.

I got ressies!! Woohoo! So far it's 3 nights at ASMo, 3 nights POR, 3 nights offsite. But I might change that to 6 nights POR and 3 nights offsite. Big shout out to AWM for the heads up. What a great bunch of ladies we have on this board.
Hey Buffy, when are you going to be in WDW? If I'm thinking right, we'll be down there at the same time. I'm going to be there from 2/27-3/8. It would be so cool to meet up!

That is the only kind my DH will let me take right now.
I tried again this morning to get him to let us go in October or November. I mean really, when are we ever going to see Yatch club for under $200 a night? Can't you just see SAB now? But he is not budging. He is not the nut about Disney like I am.

I tried calling today and was told the usual, that the code is only for people who got the postcard, and that it was sent to people who have not been to WDW in a while. The agent said she had only gotten 2 whole calls about that rate in 10 days. She checked my record and said there were no pending special rate codes. I'm a dark blond myself, so I don't mean to flame anyone, but she definitely had some blond brain issues going on there :crazy:
I really have a lot of personal things I need to take care of this year and I'm in the process of changing jobs, so any trips to WDW are likely going to be scheduled closer to travel time, IF I even go. Plus, there will have to be a new puppy on the horizon this year......it's just too quiet here since I lost my rambunctious Yoda.
WDW also did not send me an AP renewal form in November and did not respond to any e-mails from the AP site, so my pass expired as well as the lower renewal rates for the AP.

Sorry,:sad1: it didn't work for you. If you look at all the postings on the Codes & Rates thread, you'll see that some people called three & four times before they got the code, some called once and some called more than they care to admit. There really is no rhyme or reason as to why some people without a pin get it and some don't.
I just wanted everyone here to be in the know and perhaps some of us had pins next to our names and wouldn't know until trying. I know I did NOT have pin and they gave me the discount. 'Course I had to cancel it when DH said no way, we can't afford it.
A puppy? I love puppies. A puppy will bring you lots more memories to cherish that will be happy ones.

I know........I've been through that with codes before and have called many times on other offers that I didn't really qualify for and finally have gotten it in the past if I persisted. I figured I wouldn't be on the list for this one, though, because I've gone so much.
My 14 year old beloved corgi died last summer, and I'm just starting to feel like I can welcome a puppy in the house. My other dog would really appreciate some more doggy shenanigans around here. Yoda was a one dog show from morning till night until the last day of his life. It's just too quiet here now!
Thanks, AWM, for all your info!! :flower3: I haven't hung around the Resort Board in a couple of months.

AWM - I :love: you! You're right, I rarely venture off this part of the boards unless I have specific trip planning questions/issues. When I saw what you posted, I figured I'd try and see if anything was available for my October trip with my Dad. I haven't even begun to plan that since I usually wait for airfare to come out first. I also figured no way would they honor the discount since I always have bad luck. Well, they did! No questions asked, nothing. I couldn't believe it. We always stay at Pop, which is fine, but this time I can upgrade to a moderate for the same price as Pop! I was so so tempted looking at those Deluxe rates but I just can't justify that for a trip where basically we're just in the room to sleep. Part of me says this is a signal to take a quick weekend trip down with my DH and try a Deluxe but between my fall trip and our 10 day trip with the kids and April I just really shouldn't do that. I want to (so so much!) but I need to behave. Will I, though? I do have a credit with JetBlue just burning a hole in my virtual pocket. :rolleyes1
So, :thanks: :disrocks:

NEE, I am so glad it worked for you. A special trip for a deluxe sounds so nice!!
Soooo, anyone who is going and would like to send me a postcard ('cause they will look so awesome in my scrapbook), I'd be really pleased to receive them and live vicariously through your family. My address is over on the Epcot page kit progress thread if you can send me one. That was my not so subtle hint that I really want to see some magic too. pixiedust: Thank you so much in advance.
