Newbie here, can someone help me?

My family will be going to Universal for the first time. We have been to Disney several times and want to try something new. We have booked rooms at RPH and I was wondering do they allow for room requests? :confused3 I just looked at some pictures and I would love a room that has a view of the pool or IOA.

Yes, you can make a request on your reservation. I bumped a thread for you that should be helpful! There are 3 towers and some rooms have incredible park views.

Hi there! You are going to love Universal! :) If you want a pool view you need to book a pool view. I would imagine you could ask for a park view. The worse thing they can do is tell you no :)

Be armed with info! When I requested a room at RPR last summer, the rooms I wanted weren't available (even put them on my original ressie). So, I proceed to tell the lady (who didn't seem happy with me) that I wanted a room in the same corridor--facing the park. Turned out, I got a room 2 rooms down from one of my original requests. So, if you know what rooms you want, you have a better chance of getting what you want.
