Daybed for toddler?

I posted this on the resort board but probably hsoud be here...

Has anyone used the Daybed in the Poly with a bed rail. My son will almost be 2 and I was thinking about putting him in the daybed with a bed rail - or I could always bring 2 bed rails and have him sleep in the other bed. I am afraid he will be too big for the cribs they have. He is really tall and likes to sleep sideways...

does he need a bedrail? my 2 year olds sleep in regular twin beds without any problems, and they loved hanging out on the daybed at the yc (assume its the same size as the poly's). their 4 year old brother slept on it, they shared a queen bed. I think the daybed was closer to the ground, so not as far to fall should he slip out a bit.

Thanks, he may be okay, we are going in September, and he is my first baby, so I really did not know - when they started sleeping in the beds okay now he just squirms a lot. A bed may help that though. I am not going to worry about a crib and just make it work.

You can request the bed rails at the Poly and if they don't work out for you the first night and you feel you need a PnP or crib let the front desk know and they will work to accomodate you.

We are going next week and I am brining an air matress to put on the floor. My kids move too much and will keep me awake. They are comfortable on the matress and I don't have to worry about them falling off. They only take up a little space and helps everyone sleep better.
