Dinner on your own question?

For anyone who has been on an ABD before-

We are on the Southwest Tour and we have two dinners on our own- Sadona and Grand Canyon.

My question is - Did you have any trouble finding a close place to eat and did you have trouble w/ reservations - wait time?

We have 6 going and in August-

I read online (I think) or from some of the ABD trip reports I've read that if you ask you guides they will give you suggestions on where to eat. That is what my husband and I plan to do in May when we do the Southwest Tour.

vvblue: Keep in mind that the Southwest Tour is new for 2007, first offered this Spring. I'll personally be waiting for reports from folks like Mary, go gain such insights for my own trip in November.
