Those all sound fairly reasonable for someone who (by dint of being active on the DIS board) might have an interest in travel to warm vacation spots.

Today -- mine is about 4 events in Napa Valley Wine Country. Since I am virtually a teetotaler (inability to metabolize alcohol), I gotta wonder if there might just be a teensy lil row offset somewhere in the big mama database...

Carlos the Jackal :cool2: (noted world-traveler with a penchant for out of the way travel destinations, Stalinist architecture, and business opportunities involving weapons grade plutonium -- who'da thunk he'd have a thing for wine-tastings and sea-cotton???) might actually be seeing my targeted advertising for fuzzy kittens, discount socks, and Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup...

I can honestly say -- neither Croatia nor Bulgaria are in my current top ten. There is just something about corrupt and secretive goverments that operate outside the will of their own people, that I find somewhat off-putting in a vacation destination. ...Of course... I have made an exception in the case of Florida.:scratchin

I'm getting mixed messages - the other day I got something to do with dating for Arabic singles and another one for wedding message boards. Now I am not Arabic and I can not legally get married so I'm not quite sure what they are hoping to accomplish with either of those ads. Today it's one for H & R Block taxes ... as I sit here doing my taxes with Turbo Tax! :rotfl: I would have to say that their targeted advertising is off the mark.

I had that one yesterday too -- definitely closer to my true demographic profile -- so I thought maybe the problem (???) had been fixed -- but today I'm back to wearin' my babushka, and takin' the slow boat to Elbonia again. :confused3

Actually, if you've never been to Croatia, you should consider it. (I'm serious). Red-tile roof ancient cities, beautiful Mediterranean beaches and islands, accomodations and food less than half of what you'd pay in neighboring Italy. 3 1/2 hr ferry ride across the Adriatic from Italy.
