What's the weather like in October??

We are going for the first time to CA in mid October and I was wondering what the weather is normally like at Disneyland after the 18th of the month??
We also want to do the Halloween Treat if they have it so does it get cold at night when the sun goes down?? Thanks!

I make no guarantees about the weather in California!! From what I know it is TYPICALLY short sleeve weather during the day, and maybe a light jacket at night....but I am from AZ but like the cold...(except this year!!)

Last year we went on the 22 for MHT, and it was great during the day, 80's and swimming weather. However, the girls did have to put jackets on over their costumes for the night. They were Tinkerbell and Belle, so pretty small and sleeveless costumes. But DS was fine in a Brother Bear costume that was warm and I had on jeans and a tshirt, no sweatshirt and we got back to the room at 11pm. October weather is usually darn near perfect!

It is beautiful during the day, perfect temperature. You can wear shorts, capris, go swimming, whatever, but just make sure that first thing in the morning and especially come evening time your wearing longer pants and a jacket. It can get quite cold.
