OK, I've watched the tutorial videos. I've been through the Lightroom site and forums. I poked around at every control in the program itself. But I just cannot figure out how to save a picture!

I can print, make a slideshow, and a website. But, I can't save my changes back to JPG files. I realize that its non-destructive editing is a feature. I appreciate that it preserves my originals. How in the world do I create a full size JPG file with my corrections?

I have even have "save" and "save as" options in the menu but they are disabled. Am I missing something or is that feature crippled in the beta version? :headache:

Your changes are automatically saved to a metadata file. The original photo file is never touched. If you want to save the photo with your changes, you "export" the picture.

Thanks Mark, that was it.

The function of the export menu item changes depending on the screen you are on. The first time I tried it I was on the Web Site screen so export tried to create a web site.

From the library screen it did exactly what I needed it to do :thumbsup2
