We Leave On Friday!

I can't believe all the months of planing are paying off! We are leaving on Friday for 8 days in the world for the first time :) :goodvibes

I can not tell you how much this board has helped in the planning! Thank you everyone, I can't imagine going down to the World without knowing anything about it. SO A HUGE :thanks: to everyone. Thank you for all your pixiedust: when my son was sick. All I can say now is: :disrocks: :worship:

Our son that has strep throat is feeling just fine and everyone else stayed healthy!

Of course I woke up today to a swollen and sore finger I have no idea what I did to it but will be seeing the dr today, just in case it's a bite or something like that.

Our kids are still in the dark...heehee We are going to tell them that morning, they are going to freak out...:eek: :woohoo:

How exciting for you! We still have 182 days to go. I hope everyone is feeling well when you head out. Be sure to come back and post your pictures and tell how your trips went. It'll help those of us still waiting until our time comes. You're right about the DisBoards being helpful. We also leave on Friday!!... we check in on Sat and leave on Feb 4th... unfortunately my foot has gone whacko and I just had to line up the rental of a ECV.. so it sucks to have the sore foot, but great to still be able to go.. :)

Lots of pixie dust for safe travel and magical trips to ALL of you guys leaving Friday! I'll be thinking of you as I am teaching perimeter in Math and giving a Vocabulary test and a Science quiz to my third graders. I'll just be grateful it is the end of another week. At least it's a payday Friday. You guys have a blast for the rest of us, and come back and share your fun with us!

My DH surprised me this morning with ressies for Feb. 20-23 at the cabins in the wilderness. That is my favorite of all the places we've stayed. :cool1: Both DS's both found out when I yelled this morning with joy :banana: :banana:
My DH is the man!!! :love: Guess I'll have to come back home after dropping off my almost 9 year old and thank him properly, hehe :hug: :angel:
Then I found a ressie for when the kids get out of school in June. This will be a great morning :lmao:

Have fun! You're surprising your kids? How wonderful. That's what we did on Christmas morning. We went for the first time Jan6-13 and had the best time ever! I'm already trying to get dh to plan our next trip. Have a magical vacation.
