We're headed to DL/DCA at the end of the month. I have lost 16 lbs at Weight Watchers and have many more lbs. to go. Every other time I've been to WDW, I've returned with 2-3 lbs back on and I am determined not to repeat the same thing.

Since I have not been to DL for many years, are there any park veterans who can recommend some good restaurants (prefer counter service or sit-down but no buffets) in the parks where I could make the best choices: example, veggie burgers, grilled chicken, etc.

Knowing in advance where to go will certainly help in the planning.

Thanks.

here is a link to restaurant menu's for Disneyland Resort. Being a vegetarian and someone trying to losea few pounds I used it to plan ahead of time what I wanted to eat. It was a great help.

Just wanted to say that most of the restaurants have little symbols next to the "healthy choices," and I believe that you can get carrot sticks in place of fries at some of the counter service restaurants.

Also, I had a really great salad and corn chowder at the Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian Hotel. The corn chowder probably isn't a healthy choice, but the salad was terrific, mixed greens, pears, feta (or gorganzola, not sure) cheese, nuts, and a nice vinaigarette dressing.

The last time I went to DL/DCA I ate there and it was wonderful! Not much more expensive then the fast food/counter types and a lot more calm. Very, very good.

I was in the same predicament the last time I went. Every stand at least has a salad :)
