The cruise portion of MouseFest (on the Disney Wonder) will be from December 2-6, 2007; and the land portion will be held from December 6-10, 2007. See www.mousefest.org for more information. It's the fifth annual, and I intend to be there, God willing.

All but the first of my WDW trips, listed in my signature, have been solo, and I had the kind of blast that you can't approach with dynamite. As a solo guest you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, with little or no compromise.

Of course, if I waited for someone to go with me, I'd never leave home.

DH and I are going from December 22-January 1st. This is our first time going during Xmas as well. We are so excited but bummed that we are going to miss the MVMCP by one night :0(. We are going to be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort (first time there for us) though I told him we are staying at the Pop Century. He is returning from Afghanistan in the middle of June after serving 16 months there so the upgrade is a little surprise (he he).

Only a little over 9 months to go WOO HOO!!!

Hello. I am getting more and more worried about our trip in December (22nd through Jan. 1st). Everything I read talks about the crowds and how incredibly busy it is. I understood that when I booked the trip but it was the only doable time for DH and I. What did you think of it when you went? I know it will look great but were the crowds tolerable?

As of now my personal itinerary has me in Epcot all day on 12/13. I have not made any meal reservations yet, because I'm not yet into my 180 day window; I may change day/park plans after Disney releases park times on the first of June (ie: after TGM makes his December suggestions.)

But Le Cellier is fine, and if the above all works out to keep me at Epcot on that day, as I expect it will, I would enjoy meeting with y'all for dinner. (Although I'm not sure if I want to see the Candlelight Processional again this year; depends somewhat upon who the speaker will be.)

Howdy Lil and Mari! Mari, sorry I won't be there when you ar (I'm there Dec. 8-16), but Lil you'll be there when I am! Ditto to seeing the Christmas decorations. This is my third time to go during the holiday season and it is by far my most favorite time to go. I even spent several hours going to many of the Delux Resorts and looking at their decorations. And of course, the Osborn Family of Lights is something to behold. I stayed for some time my last trip just enjoying that. You'll both have Such a Fun time! Pity it's still three months away!

I'll be there from Dec.4-11, but I'm not sure whether I'll be camping by myself at FW, or staying with friends at Solana Resort (they may back out...kinda hoping they do, actually). I have absolutely NOTHING planned (so unlike me!), but I did book a Breathless II cruise for my "group" for 12/5 Illuminations. If they back out, I'll post for people to share. I also booked a CP dinner package for 5 for the same night (definitely doable, did it last year).

Ok...I am only there for 3 days....just want to visit the Gf and WL and see the Christmas decorations....shop at DTD...have a nice dinner, relax and maybe do a spa treatment since I am at SSR....am also scoping out the resort for our big trip next year. Besides, I did the parks...was fortunate enough...2 x already this year:)

Really...my other dilemma is....I am taking my older DD11 at the end of Feb...when I want to purchase an AP...so I would have it to Feb 29 to next year....if I get one now...I will lose my arguement to DH how this trip will be cheaper than getting a room downtown (CHI) for the weekend to do Christmas shopping...lol

Disneybride'03-your plans sound perfect and I can now understand why you don't need to go to the parks. It's your time and you are supposed to do exactly what you want to do. Some of us have plans at Pleasure Island and JellyRolls that you may be able to join us for, if you want to and i plan on doing a lot of Christmas shopping.

DisneyBride'03- I'll be at POFQ from 12/10-12/17-my first solo Disney trip, although have made so many plans with other solos, that not much "down" time. I did save one day to finish up any shopping I miss-we have quite a loaded schedule and it's also my birthday on the 13th, so am Parasailing with 2 others in the morning(a first, also). We are having dinner at Planet Hollywood on the 10th(have room if you want to join us), then to Pleasure Island. 12/14 is dinner at Wolfgang Puck's and Pleasure Island for Adventurer's Club and Comedy Club and 12/15, I have room at the Cape May Cafe for dinner. Let me know if any of this works for you-we'd love to have you join us. I love the resort decorations and love to buy the gingerbread ornaments at the gingerbread house, at the Grand Floridian, to bring home as gifts. There really is a lot to see, without the parks, on a short trip. Downtown Disney is my favorite for the rest of my shopping.

DisneyBride'03- Lots of displays at the hotels made of gingerbread and other edible things-my favorite is the Carousel at the Beach Club. Boardwalk Inn has a nice display, also. Our dinner ressies are for 6:30, so probably 8:30 or 9:00 we'll be heading to the clubs.

NMP~Have you thought about having a grocery service deliver your items? It probably wouldn't be much more than gas money. We aren't checking in until the 9th and staying Concierge this time so we won't be going to the market. You could also pack a few small boxes of cereal and just buy some milk and fruit from the resort convenience store. Just a couple of suggestions~Jude

~~If you don't get a ride to the store then try gardengrocer.com or call them @ 866-855-4350. I have not used them myself but heard good things and they only have a 12.00 delivery charge. They deliver to your resort 7 days a week from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. :) There are a few other delivery services as well. Hope you have a great trip~~Jude
