Just wondering if we fly into orange county if there is any type of shuttle bus that would take us to area hotels, or would we have to rent a car?

We would like to know this as well!
I know of two shuttles, supershuttle and karmel shuttle. We have used Karmel twice and it was fine. Also, there is the disneyland resort express bus, it goes to the DLH and then to a bunch of other hotels, but I am not sure which ones. The drawback to the bus is that it is more limited on it's schedule and if you are not staying at DLH you may have to change buses.

We've used the Super Shuttles and they run often and are very efficient. I don't recommend the Disneyland bus as it makes several stops, and as another poster mentioned, they're on more of a schedule.

We were given this information a few years ago and it works great.
Depending on how many people are in your party it is cheaper and faster to get a cab. We stay across the street from DLR. It is only $35 for a taxi. Then they give us a coupon for the ride back so it is even cheaper. We wait a little because we have a double stroller and use a taxi van. But if you have a party of 4 like us it is direct, and cheaper.

I understand there is a motor coach available, I believe they call it Disney Express, and it transports between disney hotels/disney area hotels and orange county and LAX. I know they don't run very late, so depending on your arrival time and departure time, you may not have that as an option.

We took a super shuttle arranged in advance from John Wayne (SNA) to Candy Cane Inn. It worked great!

A shared supershuttle (which can carry up to 7 passengers) from SNA (aka John Wayne) is $10 per person.:thumbsup2

Hi.We have a limo pick us up at John Wayne and take us to GCH..with a lot of people it can be cheaper.or they have towncars as well..The Disney people referred us to a great company...It was more affordable than the shuttle and they are on your schedule..We are going March5-9 and will take it again..Just our experience the last 4 trips it was easier! And it is kinda fun when they hold up a sign with your name on it :o) ..but there were a lot of people who did it last time so there was a line of people waiting for their limo to pull up...

Do you have the name of this limo company and how much it runs? We have a total of 8 people. Do they have carseats?

They have car seats..not sure of the charge or if they do charge..we will bring our infant seat and booster..they are easy to check at airport and then leave in hotel... hth...i think it was 95/each way..it may be more now..but with kids and large parties I think it is easier...they don't charge per person but per car...
