I was at the wheelchair van place yesterday getting our van serviced (the back door wouldn't open automatically to let the ramp out) and I had some time to look thru the disability magazines.
I saw an ad for a really cool car - a PT cruiser with a tiny little ramp and a door that swings up so the driver can roll right into place in a wheelchair.
Here's a link to the website (http://www.freedommotors.com/freedom_motors_usa_002.htm) that was listed in the magazine. It doesn't give a lot of info, but at least there is a picture.

Lucky you to even get ot sit in one! The PT Cruiser is a cool car, so it's expecially neat that they have a wheelchair version.
I know if my DD could ever drive, she would want one of those. She is practical enough to know that the red sports car she wanted when she was about 5 won't work with a wheelchair and she keeps pointing out PT cruisers to me on the road.

Thanks for posting that. I must have gone to the site before they were done with it, since all you could see was a photo of the car (with no links).
