Disney does not pick up from Sanford airport, but that is where we are flying in. Does anyone have a clue how much a taxi or shuttle ride from there to Walt Disney world would run?
We are trying to see if it is worth going that route or renting a car. My SIL works for a car rental and can get us a good deal, but I guess we need to see what the difference in prices would be.

I've never been there, but I know there's a lot of shuttles in the whole area. We fly into Orlando for our cruises out of Port Canaveral, so we've taken a couple of shuttles in the area. I wouldn't reccomend Mears, I had a bad experience with them, just real *****y about some things. Here's a link to their shuttles and services that they have there. Most of them appear to be like $120-150 one way, but it's for a large van, so it depends on how many people you have traveling. Good luck!

We flew in and out of Sanford last year and I don't remember who we used, but we did find them through the site above. I believe we paid about $120 for a 1-way trip for 5 people in a van. Keep in mind it's a little further to Sanford than MCO. The aiport itself is small, but nice and because it's smaller the security is faster to go through, fewer people.

OK, we would be better renting then if it will cost over 200 round trip. Unless a taxi is any cheaper. We can get a rentel for probably around 120 for the week.(SIL works for HERTZ) We would have to check before, but with only 3 of us, one only being 2, that is alot of money in my book!

120 is a good rental price if it's for a week.

We will have it 4 or 5 days and we usually can get a car for less than 20 a day. We have to see for sure though. Sometimes she can't get them that cheap!

Try www.happylimo.com A teacher I work with used it this past year when they flew in to Sanford. I would rather pay for the pick-up than fool with driving in the area!!
