Okay, here we go!
I will start will 5 groups of 10. But if there is overwelming need, I will add more. There are no particular themes so whatever you decide to do is fine. Just specify what you will be sending (for ex. green eyelets or red big brads) so that we don't have duplicates. If you sign up for one of the specific groups and the Anything Goes group, please send in different items because there may be swappers in the same groups as you.
Due date is 2/26. I'm leaving for WDW on 3/2 and I would really like to get these out to you before hand.
Packaging
1. Please put your items in a baggie with your screen name on them.
2. Put all of the baggies into a larger baggie for each group that your in and label with group #.
3. You can use a swap card or just send me all the items, it's up to you.
Mailing
In the mail envie please include:
1. All your baggies
2. The same amount of postage it took to mail it, plus a couple extra first class stamps in case it costs more to mail back....these will be returned if not needed.
3. A self addressed return label.
*Please tape your pkg so that it is sealed securely, we don't want to lose anything.*
On with the swap. The groups are not limited to what I suggested underneath. If you think of something else, by all means sign up for it. Just please make sure that you are sending a good amount of items to each person.

Updated to here. I added in an extra eyelet/brad group and an anything goes group since they seem to be very popular.
AWM- I think that will be plenty! In fact I was only going to swap 4 chipboard shapes. So you could pare it down a little. Or if you're trying to get rid of some stuff, feel free to swap it out. ;)
Mickster - Are you swapping out eyelets or brads. Just wondering b/c I just ran out of my little square antique copper eyelets and could use some more. :teeth:

Okay, you're all signed up. Couple of ?'s for you though. Diana has already signed up for stars in 2B, would you like to do something else? Also, did you still want your spot in 5A? We could move the stars to the 5A group and you could either give up your eyelet group or do something else. Just let me know! :thumbsup2

If Mickeyteacher wants 5a, can we add her as #11 in Group 5A and everyone just makes 11 packets? I did that with the last Prima swap and everyone was happy to get an extra packet in the bunch?
I know, I'm just being a troublemaker! :stir:
If not, I'll back out of 5B and let her have my spot. After all, it's my fault she's here anyway! I've convinced her to start scrapbooking and now I'm getting her to participate in swaps!!! :stir:

I would be cool with doing 11, but I only have 10 snowman charms. If you would be okay with switching my 5A items with 5B items, I can do 11 for 5A. I have lots of those metal alphabet charms and 12 chipboards, so I'm safe for that grouping.
Could we make this anymore crazy for you?

They really are just charms with a snowman scene meant to be used on Christmas cards. They aren't made of gold, although they are a goldtone.

And the buttons, tile groups.... are they both items or one or the other?

The buttons/tiles/acryllic group is just one item or a combo of items.

I decided to make a new Anything Goes group since it seems to be pretty popular. But since the metal group doesn't seem to have a lot of interest, I'm only going to do the one group of that. Hope this is okay with everyone. :)

Ok,
I have a question for the groups, you have the list of items at the top of each group, do we put in our baggies exactly what you have on your list, or do we pick one item from the list? I am not sure... Cause in the metals group it looks like people are just picking one item??? But in the brad groups, they are picking the whole list? I am so confused!!!!! :confused3 I just want to get it right!!!! This is my first time in this swap!!!
I was going to put in the whole selection for each group I picked. But if that is wrong, please let me know.

I believe it is one of the sub groupings. Like you would send in 10 eyelets OR 5 large brads. For the metals, I don't understand the terms, except clips, but I would think you only pick one item and amount of that item stated.
I'm not in the metals, but I'm pretty sure no one will complain if you wish to send extra. :cutie:

For my ribbons and fiber in group 1, it will be red/white/blue.
And one more question--is it okay to mix eyelets and brads for group 2?
Thanks!

How many items do we send? 10? or 10 baggies with lots in each?
BernardandMissBianca

How many items do we send? 10? or 10 baggies with lots in each?
It depends on what you are sending, these are per person so if there are 10 in your group you would need 10 pieces including 1 for yourself.
you can pick anything in the {}
Examples:
fiber/ribbons - 2 yards per person. Can be {2 yards of ribbon}, {2 yards of fiber} or {1 of each}. So you would need 20 yards, cut into 2 yard lengths and put into 10 baggies.
eyelets and brads - {10 small brads} or {5 big/shaped brads} or {10 eyelets} or {5 shaped eyelets}
say you pick 10 small brads, you would need 100 small brads and then divide those up into 10 brads in each baggie, 1 for each person in your group.
buttons, tiles, or acrylic tags - {10 small} or {5 large buttons} or {5 tiles} or {5 acryllic tags}.
You would pick 1, say 5 large buttons you would need 50 and then divide those up into 5 in each baggie, 1 baggie for everyone in your group.
Etc.... down the line. Under the group #'s you'll see a description of the items needed and the amount you'll need.
You would mail them all to your hostess including your own. It makes it easier to divide back up. You will then get back 1 item from each person in your group, including your own.
I really hope I didn't confuse you even more! LOL

I'm going to give you a link to a website that has tons of brads and eyelets. There really isn't a price point per say. Small brads are overall less expensive but you have to buy more of them. You can find brads, eyelets, and yarn at Michael's, ACMoore, Hobby Lobby etc. But this store had pictures I could post. I hope this helps!
Here are some examples along with the number you will have to have.
http://www.eyeletoutlet.com/
http://eyeletoutlet.com/images%2Fproducts%2FEyeletout%2Fthumbnail%2Fthumb% 5Fbrads%20anodized%20sm%2Ejpg100 divided by 10 - $1.99/40
http://eyeletoutlet.com/images%2Fproducts%2FEyeletout%2Fthumbnail%2Fthumb% 5FBrad%20hat%2Ejpg50 divided by 10 - $2.99/12
http://eyeletoutlet.com/images%2Fproducts%2FEyeletout%2Fthumbnail%2Fthumb% 5Frounds%20prim%2Ejpg100 divided by 10 - $.95/40
http://eyeletoutlet.com/images%2Fproducts%2FEyeletout%2Fthumbnail%2Fthumb% 5Fduck%20yellow%2Ejpg50 divided by 10 - $2.10/20
http://www.modadea.com/yarns.htm
tape and ribbon, novelty, eyelash and fur. 20 yards cut into 2 yard sections
buttons- any buttons are good but you have to cut the shanks off the back. People usually pick a color and have several shades for each person. 100 small or 50 large divided by 10

AWM - How did you send it out if the groups aren't finalized yet? I though PBLM said she was going to leave sign-ups open until today.
If we are confirmed, I'd like to order my stuff and post what I bought.
Any ideas?

All my groups were full, so it was easy for me to send my items. IF she decides to add a person to the group, than I just don't get one back. :cutie:

I would be willing to add my name to the Group 4 list (metals) for photo anchors (photo turns), but don't want to do that if other people have already ordered all their stuff. I would be #8 in that group, if I'm added.

Just ordered my goodies. I based my numbers on those signed up to this point since PBLM said that she was closing sign-ups today.
Group 1A: Ribbons and Fibers
1 yd. variegated blue and 1 yd. variegated orange fiber
Group 2B: Eyelets and Brads.
Metallic bright eyelets (think Mardi Gras bead colors)
Group 3A: Buttons, Tiles and Acryllic tags.
4th of July acrylic tiles
Group 4: Metals
Mix of bright, pastel and tropical color photo anchors with corresponding brads.
Group 5A: Anything Goes
Blue and Pink Small Prima Flowers
I had so much fun shopping! I can't wait to get everything! :woohoo:

'Doh! I just ordered my stuff based on 7. Go ahead and sign up and I'll pick something up at my LSS for you. You won't get the anchors I bought for everyone else. I'll probably just grab one of those cute metal frames for you. The more the merrier!

I have everything packed and I'm mostly ready to go. Just need an address. But I'm really in no hurry. Have bridal shower invites to get done first! :)

Sorry Ladies, I forgot about closing the signups yesterday. I was running around like crazy yesterday even though the high was only like 5 degrees. They are officially closed now. I'll be PMing my addy as soon as I can and I'll be on the look out for those who sent. :)

Did you get a chance to look through my things? I just want to be sure that it is in line with what you had in mind for this swap. Let me know if I should do something different while I can still shop and ship to you in time.
Thanks for hosting!!

I'm so sorry, I'm going to have to drop out of this swap. Last night my car was stolen and all of my stuff for the swap was inside. Again I'm sorry for having to drop out, maybe I can catch the next one as I no longer have any scrapbook supplies and will need new ones. (I went to my bf's after an all day crop and when I got up to leave today, my car was gone with all my scrapbook supplies and the layouts I had done that day in it).

Ann,
I'm so sorry! I hope they recover your car and your scrapping supplies!

I hope they find your things. Insurance can get you a new car, but it sure can't replace the memories your scrapbooking has recorded.

Hi PBLM~I will be sending Photo Anchors (turn mounts) with matching brads - Heritage colors for the metals Group #4.
Also, have you sent PM's with your address yet? I didn't receive one, if you did.
Thanks for all your work!

thank you everyone for your thoughts. I've started pricing and ordering supplies. I've replaced 1 of my trimmers with a better one. Bazzill and everything else is slowly getting ordered, but I'm going to another all day crop on Saturday so I'll replace a lot of my stuff there. BF is also taking me shopping on Friday.

Can I change my purple in group 1 to a red/blue/yellow fiber? I didn't have enough of the purple and I don't want to buy more. :scared:

cgcw - I got you down.
Irene - I think your sending too much! I would send about half that. :goodvibes
Miss Bibbles - I'll keep an eye out for your things
B&MB - I think it depends on how many book plates your sending. I'd send some brads if your sending 2 bookplates. But if it's more, I wouldn't.
Mickster - that combo will be fine. I changed it for you.
