DVC and free DDP [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

We used DDP for our xmas week trip and found it a great surprise. We really got our money's worth and found it very easy to use. This is a strange question , but if there is a free DDP offer, do DVC members also get it free? That would be amazing if it does happen, but somehow I doubt it since we really don't even "pay" for room accomodations when we stay on points. Does anyone know the answer?

If you're staying in your villa on points then no. That free promo is for people who book a package that includes the rack rate room and tickets.

And it is only when Disney is trying to fill the rooms, like during prime hurricane season or the beginning of the school year.
