AP rate at resort hotels

Someone just posted on another board that the AP special rates on resort hotels are out per a call she made today. Can anyone tell me what the hotels are running for and what dates? I am looking to get an AP when I am down there in a couple weeks and want to know what type of "deals" you really get. Thanks.

Mouseplanet and no code given, she just called. Sounds like she got GCH for $189. Heck, I am paying $245 for DLH in a couple weeks. Can AP holders get these kind of room discounts in a package or is it purchased separately?

That's too bad. I was thinking of heading down this weekend. Last year we stayed at the DLH over Martin Luther King weekend for $99 per night.

OK I am sold. Reservations would not give me any details because I am not a current AP holder. I am upgrading my darn hopper while I am down there in 12 days. I just wished I would have ordered one originally and then I could have capitalized on the room rates. Live and learn.

That's odd...I've heard of lots of people who, in the past, have not had the AP rate when booking....maybe you need the actual "code" which I haven't seen posted yet...

Yep, I need the code. But I can't change my package now, I am locked in.

You should be able to get rates not being a current AP holder you just have to have an AP when you check in. One year I booked some rooms with the AP rate and bought my AP at the hotel at the same time. Got a ticket for entry into the park and then took pictures at the bank. The rates are from 1/28/07-02/15/07 and are GCH $189, DLH $139, PPH $129.

I am in a WDTC package and they won't let me do the AP rate in the package, which has been paid for.
